Some of my favorite things.... Materialistic etc.

I was thinking about it and I figured I'd write all this down to see what changes in the future.

Person I respect most: Tie, Mom and Dad. My Dad was a Federal Agent for many years. I never realized the depth of his accomplishment until I was at my brother's graduation into the same agency. The amount of respect others had for my father was amazing. He and one of his former colleagues were honored particularly during the ceremony for their actions during a routine day that turned into something non-routine. Their training paid off. Normal guys put in extraordinary situations and they performed exactly how they were supposed to. What I like most about everything is that my Dad still has his head on his shoulders, he follows the advice he gives and always says I should always be hardworking, humble, and have a sense of humor.

Fruits: Asian Pears, they're so crunchy! Unique Fruit, eat a huge orange!

Comparitively, Cornell would have about 30 per 100,000 people, whereas the Army has about 20.

Keep it in perspective, please. I just had a guy from my unit drop dead after finding out he had pancreatic cancer, five weeks later that is. Why is everybody so worried about these sorts of things? If it's your day to go well, you're going.

For those of you who read this...

A good friend and Soldier that worked with me at Drum and last year in Afghanistan was in a horrible car accident just a couple of weeks ago. He's now fighting for his life. He hasn't yet regained consciousness, but I hope he will soon. If you could, pray for him and leave an encouraging note or two for his wife Kathleen. She needs strength as much as he does.

Now, just a quick disclaimer so people don't get too mad at me again and try to twist my words around and make assumptions... I'm saying that its sad that things have to go this far and it's sad that common sense is so absent in our society. That's the moral of the story, nothing else.

This goes right along with labels on plastic bags saying "this bag is not a toy, can cause suffication." Why the hell, with all the kids' toys out there, would somebody let a kid play with a plastic bag? How about, give the kid a cardboard box, unless they tend to eat cardboard, then maybe bad idea. But really, a kid can choke on anything, that statement should be the understood statement of our existance. I've chocked on a noddle before, that should make me realize that many things can cause chocking. I wouldn't be surprised if someday situated on the steering wheel of my car in black letters it says "If you drive this car, you could get in a car accident and DIE or find your brain contents on the pavement, whereas then you will DIE."

Yesterday, I got my tire changed. The guy made me sign a statement that said right at the bottom, "I will not sue you." What has this country come to?

And what ever happened to swine flu?
